Martin Venning’s third thriller, The Value of Luck has been officially launched at a festive celebration of leading independent book writers and publishers at Foyles, London’s famous pre-eminent bookstore.
Venning told the assembled audience this was more than a story of international intrigue but a chronicle of the conflict between international crime the challenges it presents to law enforcement agencies and the personal morality of the protagonists.
“It was pleasing to receive such positive interest given the range and quality of other independent writers and the initial reviews have been encouraging, so I am optimistic sales will get some traction throughout the winter”, he said.
