The Primary Objective now available as an audiobook

The Primary Objective is now available to a new audience who prefer the convenience of listening to a good story. The move follows better than projected sales of the softback and e-book versions.

“I wasn’t sure how well the book would be received as a first effort, but am certainly encouraged that sales to date have justified the investment in the new format in the run up to Christmas”, said author Martin Venning.

Narrated by actor/director Sebastian Abineri, the audiobook features music samples by upcoming Scottish composer/performer Monica Robin which adds depth to the listening experience. Sebastian recently appeared as ‘Joey the Wig’ in EastEnders and has been seen in many leading parts on TV. He has played Wilfred Owen in Wilfred Owen & Siegfried Sassoon Out of Battle for the BBC, and leading roles in two of the BBC’s Play for Today series. He is perhaps best remembered for his role as ‘Dick’ in Flambards for Yorkshire Television.

Monica Robin’s work has been featured on BBC Radio Scotland, BBC Sounds and the Radio Six International weekly playlist. Monica is mainly influenced by classical, cinematic and atmospheric works. She describes her unique writing style as “a quiet expression of nostalgia” and her debut album, “Souvenir” has just been released on all platforms.

The Primary Objective audiobook is available on Audible, Amazon and Apple. It will also be uploaded to our wider distribution network including YouTube, Spotify,  Deezer, Kobo, Google Play and other recognised channels.
