The first week of April saw the return of the prestigious London Book Fair at Olympia, a three day event for publishing professionals attended by some 20 000 industry luminaries.
For the first time, Martin Venning`s thriller The End of the Road featured in the New Title Showcase in the centre of the ground floor as well as on the Matador Publishing stand, (shown here, with Jonathan White).
Martin commented:
“It was great to be involved in LBF22 but also a bit scary as well. Being placed among thousands of great fiction works is a little unnerving and made be realise just how difficult it is to get attention, even when you have a great product. Although it helped me make some new contacts it will be interesting to see whether it generates more interest and maybe some additional sales”.
